Strategic Clinical Liaison
Sophie Solmini
ICADC · MATS
I work with high-profile individuals, and the people around them, who need serious help but cannot step away from life to get it. I built this practice because my own parents faced that exact wall, and found nothing on the other side.
Why This Practice Exists
I Lost Both of My Parents to This Gap.
What I watched was not addiction the way it is usually described. It was two people who needed expert help and could not reach it without walking away from everything they had built, their work, their standing, the life they were still holding together.
They were trapped between two options: get visible help and disappear for months, or remain in position and manage alone. There was no third option.
That gap became this practice.
I trained extensively in crisis assessment, addiction counselling, and high-acuity case management. I worked across hospital systems, private care, and independent advisory. What drives this work is not the credentials. It is knowing that my parents faced an impossible choice, and that the choice was not necessary.
The Background
So I Built What Did Not Exist for Them
I built Heal@Home in 2016 as a virtual clinic for high-acuity clients who needed expert support without institutional exposure. What began as remote case management evolved quickly. Clients needed more than a call. They needed someone present. I started traveling.
Over the years I have sat in front of transplant committees to advocate for clients who could not advocate for themselves. I have navigated legal systems, coordinated with medical teams across jurisdictions, and found solutions in situations where the standard answer was there is no solution.
That is the practice. Not a service. A commitment to finding the path when the obvious paths are closed.
The Practice
Strategic Clinical Liaison. Not a Therapist. Not a Coach.
My foundation is clinical. I trained and certified as an addiction counsellor outside the UAE, so I understand how dependency actually works in the brain and the mind. But I chose to work at the strategic and environmental level, because that is where the gap is. The clinical treatment belongs to your medical team. My job is to manage everything around it: the environment, the schedule, the people, the timing. Clinical literacy without clinical distance.
My practice is registered in the UAE as a management consultancy. I do not prescribe or diagnose. All medical support is coordinated through independent, licensed physicians.
The Process
How I Support You
I Assess Your Situation
Through a confidential briefing, I evaluate your circumstances, risks, and what is truly at stake. No judgment. A strategic assessment.
I Build Your Framework
Your framework is custom. Built around your specific environment, schedule, and who you are.
I Coordinate Your Circle
I serve as the liaison between your advisors, legal counsel, and medical team. Everyone works from the same picture. No gaps, no contradictions.
I Stay With You
Through real-time check-ins and on-demand access, I remain your dedicated partner through the full arc of the engagement. This is not a handoff.
Reach
Virtual or In Person. Wherever the Situation Requires.
Virtual Practice
Most engagements begin and continue virtually. I support clients across regions and time zones, with a corridor across the DIFC, Dubai, London, and Geneva.
In Person When Needed
For acute phases or situations that require physical presence, I travel to the client. The default is virtual; the in-person work is matched to the moment.
Discreet In-Person Presence
Direct presence during high-risk transitions, such as global relocations, board announcements, or acute escalations.
Stability is not achieved by removing them from their world. It is achieved by building a structure around it.
